Some
of Mr. Smith’s projects include:
Breckinridge
North, Gwinnett County, Georgia: Mr. Smith was project
manager for the development of a fifty acre industrial park.
At build out this project consists of over 450,000 square
feet of building area. A 1,500 linear foot Gwinett County
industrial standard roadway was designed to serve the project.
To maximize the land use a hydrology study was prepared to
utilize an adjacent creek for stormwater detention, thus eliminating
the need for any on site detention ponds.
Barrett,
Cobb County, Georgia: Mr. Smith has served as a project
manager or engineer for this 960 acre mixed development since
1985. Responsibilities have included roadway design for the
project’s major parkway, site designs for individual parcel
users, and the creation of marketing materials. These marketing
materials include a full color CAD database of the entire
project that is continuously updated as the project develops.
Atlanta
South, Clayton County, Georgia: As project manager,
Mr. Smith has overseen the civil engineering requirements
for this 54 acre industrial park located near Atlanta-Hartsfield
International Airport. With over 600,000 square feet of building
space planned the project is currently completing the construction
of the fifth and sixth buildings. All six buildings have been
designed by Mr. Smith, including a recently completed 214,000
square foot facility.

Old Dixie Road, Clayton County, Georgia: Mr. Smith
served as project manager for a 134,000 square foot front
loader distribution facility located in Southfield Corporate
Center. The project is located on 9.2 acres and required coordination
and permitting with the Georgia Department of Transportation
to modify an existing driveway. Mr. Smith’s duties included
site layout, grading plans, utility plans, and hydrological
analysis.
Gwinnett
County Progress Center, Gwinnett County, Georgia:
Mr. Smith served as project manager in charge of creating,
coordinating, and updating a CAD database for this 1,500 acre
industrial park. The database enables the client immediate
access to the latest infrastructure, land use, and various
other modifications made to the project.
